West Coast Gymnasts Inc. is a not for profit organisation which is run by parents who have been elected by other members of the club at an Annual General Meeting which is held in March of each year. The committee meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Should you have anything you wish to discuss please submit in writing and return to office for tabling for the next meeting’s agenda. Any problem, no matter how small should be brought to the committee’s attention. If we don’t hear about it we can’t do anything about it. JOINING THE CLUB
All children are welcome to a “come and try class”. If your child joins the club the parent must fill out an enrolment form and registration form prior to commencement of the next class. As part of your registration at the club you automatically become bound by the following rules and regulations. FEES
Term fees are due and payable by the 3rd class of each term and will automatically become overdue by the 5th week unless prior arrangements have been made with our treasury department. Monthly fees have been calculated annually and divided by 12 payments. The 1st payment is due in February of each year and thereafter on the 1st of each month. They will automatically become overdue by the 7th of each month. All accounts/invoices etc. are handled by the Treasurer and Administrator and should you have any queries please speak to them. REFUND OF FEES
The committee of West Coast Gymnasts does NOT refund fees. If a class is cancelled eg. Public Holiday etc a substitute class will be offered. For an extended illness of more than 1 week then a doctor’s certificate is required if a credit is required. Should you elect to remove your child from a program within the gym prior to the end of a term then a refund will not be given. Parents of children in a State or National level program are required to give West Coast Gymnasts 1 months written notice if their child wishes to cease their training at the club. DRESS
Gymnasts should wear tight comfortable clothing, either leotards, bathers, shorts, bike pants, t-shirts, no shoes are to be worn during training. Parents and siblings are not permitted to enter the gym hall without permission from a coach or committee member.The toilets and kitchen are accessible from the outside of the building – east of the main door. Should you wish to speak with a coach or your child please ask at the desk. WARMING UPIt is essential in any sport to avoid injury. Please try to have your child at the gym just prior to commencement of class to ensure he/she does not miss warm up.
Please pick up you child on time – West Coast Gymnasts does not take responsibility for gymnasts outside their class times.
