The role would include coaching primarily in the afternoons, on Saturdays (all day) and some days in the morning in our Kindergym program.

There will also be times where you’ll be required to work outside of these times, including Sundays when there are community events or competitions on.  Hence, our need for a flexible applicant.

Being able to create strong relationships with athletes, parents, staff and volunteers will be highly regarded as the club values working together as a team with the club’s values, mission and vision in mind.  A family-friendly, nurturing environment will be a refreshing change for any applicant.

This position does require physical work and applicants will be expected to move equipment, assist children with their skills (spotting) and stay on their feet, active and engaged during their shifts.

When not coaching, the successful applicant will be required to plan, implement and review lesson plans on a regular basis, carry out equipment safety checks and report to the Committee any issues, coordinate and run inhouse competitions, carry out maintenance and work very closely with the Club’s other appointed Coordinator (8 hours per week).
